Point Piper Beachfront Home of Paul McCartney’s Manager Stephen Shrimpton Sells for $35 Million

There’s been a $33 million sale and a $40 million offer on the Point Piper waterfront, with a double-digit deal on the Bellevue Hill mansion Girrahween that backs onto the Packer compound.

There’s been an offer of $40 million on 1 Wingadal Pl, Point Piper.

LJ Hooker Double Bay supremo Bill Malouf was tight-lipped when asked about his confidential $33 million deal just before Christmas for a house in Wolseley Rd.

However, the neighbourhood is awash with chatter: multiple sources revealed it’s the beachfront home of Beatles legend Paul McCartney’s manager, Stephen Shrimpton.

The former CEO of EMI Music now spends half the year overseas.

And the buyer is Fred Bart— the non-executive chairman of Audio Pixels Holdings who once owned the bedding chain Sleeping Giant. He’s now selling in Victoria Rd, Bellevue Hill.

Being an off-market negotiation, there are no internal pictures of the Wolseley Rd home available.

However, Wentworth Courier photographers took a picture from the road over the weekend.

The home faces north and has an impressive, restored slate roof. It’s understood to be a beautiful home and although there are no views of the Bridge it does have a sandy beach.

CoreLogic records show Mr Shrimpton and wife Carolyn bought the home on the 873sqm block for $1.95 million in 1995 from the colourful identity now deceased Lionel Abrahams, whose wife Nikki lives in a Wolseley Rd penthouse.
